With the world changing all around us and terrorism becoming part of our daily lives, I encourage everyone to look around and become an active part of keeping our work environment as safe as possible. I encourage facilities to look at the life safety plan and make improvements if need be.
Ask yourself one question: Would the life safety plan that your facility has, keep your children and family safe in the event of a fire or terrorist attack?
With memories of Oklahoma City and 9/11 that will be forever with us, we should constantly remind ourselves that it can happen anywhere at anytime.
